Please contact Father James, the parish priest, and meet with him in person to discuss arrangements for the Wake Service and Funeral. Read the following carefully before you start filling up the form.

EULOGY, in any form, before, during or after the Holy Mass is NOT ALLOWED in the church.

The officiating priest is always the Pastor unless it is the bishop of this diocese or a priest immediately related to the family of the deceased. If the bishop or priest who is a family member is going to be the main celebrant, the matter has to be communicated to the Pastor sufficiently in advance and permission is required in the case of the priest. Other priests who are friends or former pastors may concelebate.

The Lector has to be a practicing Catholic who is well-trained in reading Sriptures publicly and be able to read with proper pause, articulation and reverence in the sanctuary. Please meet with Fr. James prior to the funeral service.

Eucharistic ministers must have been commissioned/recommissioned within the last three years and get a letter from the pastor concerned. Please meet with Fr. James prior to the funeral service.

Altar servers should have the experience of serving Mass in their parishes. Please arrive early before the funeral service to receive instructions.
